At Journey Inn, breakfast is more than a meal—it’s a daily ritual designed to nourish, delight, and gently ease you into the rhythm of the day.
Each morning, guests gather around the table for an intentionally prepared four to five course farm-to-table breakfast featuring a balance of savory and sweet dishes made from scratch in our kitchen. We prioritize seasonal, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible—many grown by nearby farmers and some from our own garden—alongside organic, non-GMO staples chosen with care.
From warm baked goods fresh from the oven to vibrant seasonal fruit, comforting savory dishes, and beautifully prepared morning favorites, each course is created to feel both wholesome and indulgent.
No two mornings are exactly alike.
You may wake to house-made granola with organic yogurt and berries, maple-sweetened baked oatmeal, garden vegetable frittatas, scratch-made pastries, or even a vegan French toast bake topped with seasonal fruit compote. Our menus shift with the seasons, inspiration, and the abundance of the Driftless Region.

We believe everyone deserves to feel nourished at the table.
With advance notice, we are happy to thoughtfully accommodate many dietary preferences and food sensitivities, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options whenever possible.
Rather than offering “substitutions,” we strive to create meals that feel intentional, beautiful, and equally enjoyable for every guest. From our daily house-made gluten-free granola to plant-based breakfast offerings prepared from scratch, care is woven into every detail.
Please note that while we happily accommodate many dietary needs, our kitchen is not certified gluten-free or allergen-free.
