Schedule of Events at Journey Inn... 

  • October 22nd - 24th, 2010  - Massage for Couples Weekend Retreat.   See our Retreats Page for workshop details. Cost is $450 per couple or $400 per couple for early registration (by 9/10/2010).  Cost is also reduced to $400 if you tell a friend and they reserve.  Only one discount per couple.

    The fee includes two overnights at Journey Inn, organic breakfasts and workshops.  Registration deadline is 9/24/2010.  Limited to 5 couples, so reserve your space early.    

  • February 25th - 27th, 2011 - Massage for Couples Weekend Retreat.  See above for workshop information.  Early registration deadline: January 14, 2011.  Regular registration deadline: January 28, 2011.                                    
                  
  • Writer's Weekend Retreat.  Come to jump-start your writing project or to work on one already in process.                                              

    This retreat will be a weekend for writers only, providing a writer's space in Journey Inn's quiet, peaceful setting, which is free of distractions. You may write in your private room, or choose other writing spaces in the inn's two buildings.

    Call us to schedule a retreat.  We will need to book at least 3 of our 4 rooms to set the inn aside for this special retreat. 
  • Silent retreat weekends are available each season.  Come for a period of quiet to work on a creative project, write, meditate, reflect, or just to rest.  Group silent retreats can also be arranged by request.  Contact us for details.                               
  • Healthy Cooking with Pasture-raised Meats, with Lynn Anderson

          Bring a group of friends.  Call to be added to a waiting list.

          Come Friday eve, sample savory local foods

Learn to cook with Lynn from Anderson's Farm, Saturday 9-12 and then enjoy a delicious, nourishing Brunch.

Menu: Quiche scramble, Pork Sausage & apple bake, Herb-rub skillet chicken and more.

Tuition $50 per person + lodging

  •  Yoga Sessions with Mary Morrow.   
Practice yoga poses for balance and restoration, along with breathing and meditation techniques for remaining present in the moment. 
Mary Morrow is an Ansura-Inspired yoga teacher, certified in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and has 3000 hours of teaching experience.

  • Journey of the Heart Weekend Workshop - a weekend of exploring how your committed relationship can transform you as individuals - how conscious relationship can be a sacred path.  Based on the book, "Journey of the Heart" by John Welwood.

  • The Artist's Way Weekend Workshop - Julia Cameron's inspirational book, The Artist's Way, gives creatively blocked people hope and help for freeing their creativity.  This weekend workshop will provide instruction, information and exercises that will jump-start your work of The Artist's Way.  See the Retreats Page for more details.
  • Blocked Writer's Weekend Workshop - immerse yourself in a weekend of discussion, contemplation and writing practices designed to open you to your inner writing muse.  Resources for this weekend include books by Natalie Goldberg and Anne LaMott.

  • Creating Your Dream Weekend Workshop - You have a dream inside that wants to get out, but it needs further clarity, support, encouragement and direction.  Explore your dream and how to make it a reality with others in a quiet natural setting.
